We offer a range of vocational-related qualifications (VRQs) that are available as individually commissioned programmes, or as part of a more extensive personal development or employability skills package. Each course is a discrete programme that lasts for approximately 6 hours and culminates in a multiple choice style examination. VRQs (Vocationally-Related Qualifications) are qualifications designed to meet the needs of employees and employers. Newlon Fusion is recognised as an official training centre by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and the Hospitality Awarding Body (HAB). |

CIEH Level 1: Awards in Food Safety in Catering Level 1 Food Safety in Catering Award (1 day course) It is a legal requirement that those working with food undertake food safety training. These one day courses are professionally recognised qualifications for those working with food, in any capacity. The CIEH Level 1 Award in Food Safety in Catering is nationally recognised as evidence of food safety competence. The course identifies the dangers of cross-contamination, poor food storage and pest infestation.
