What we do

Newlon Fusion supports people living in areas of deprivation to maximise their ability to succeed, through the provision of quality employability skills or training and by working with neighbourhoods to improve the quality of lives.

We specialise in providing support for Newlon residents – working to create new community facilities and to support community businesses. We work in partnership with local authorities and community groups across north and east London, and work hard to access a whole range of major funding sources.

Serving Communities

As the Community Regeneration partner of Newlon Housing Trust, Newlon Fusion's aim is to create sustainable and economically strong communities. We deliver regeneration programmes, in partnership with local authorities and community groups in the boroughs of Islington, Hackney, Haringey and Tower Hamlets. These programmes include community activities, training and employment opportunities and environmental improvements.

Supporting individuals

Since its inception in 2000 Newlon Fusion has provided unique, tailored learning opportunities for people over the age of 16 by using creative and innovative interventions to promote personal development and increase employability. In that time we have been able to assist some of the most vulnerable and hard-to-reach individuals living or working in north and east London.

We are now offering work experience placements to year 10 students living in Islington and Hackney. Please go to our Youth Projects webpage to find more about this opportunity.

Jeremy Hopgood

Jeremy Hopgood, our Director of Regeneration Programmes, sadly passed away suddenly on the 21st January, 2010.
